example: category:decorative letters/L
putting a / in a category name divides it into a main page (category:decorative letters) and a sub-page (/L). This sort of impromptu and perhaps unintended division is reminiscent of the Text: pseudo-namespace, which after a categories-for-discussion consensus was achieved got converted to a parenthetical (category:Them (text)).
