The categorization used here is pretty arbitrary, to say the least. Yes, we need to divide all the files into appropriate sections, but I am not sure why there is one category for the section between Trenčín and Považská Bystrica, or for one between Žilina and Liptovský Mikuláš; to me, it's nothing short of pointless, since cities are used as arbitrary dividing points. Also, category names like Highway D1 (TN-PB) make sense to a Slovak or those familiar with city abbreviations, but not to those who do not.
A better way to do it would be categorization by official sections (that would be up to 40 different categories though), or, probably more appropriately, by the regions (6 categories), like for example Category:West Autobahn A1 is laid out. Either solution would make more sense than this. We could then do the same for Category:Expressway R1 (Slovakia), which also has a rather strange category tree.
Oh, and instead of "landings", we should use rest areas as the correct general term for both parking areas and service stations.
