Coat of arms

[edit]

The proper sole coat of arms of the Bernadottes is not the one used in the coat of arms of Sweden, half of which is that of the old Vasa dynasty. The one that was put here first, which I am putting back, has a single (not dual) motif and is the one that was designed for the Bernadottes (for their tenure as princely family of Ponte Corvo), the one they had when they arrived in Sweden in 1810 and the one that should be used to depict this dynasty as a dynasty, without the subsequent politicization and addition of more features pertaining to Sweden.
