[edit]Acc. to J.K.Russell (2014): Actually Russell proposes both denominations, "linear tuyas" and "tindar", and prefers "tindars" himself. But I'd prefer to name them "linear" or perhaps also "elongated" tuyas. Because in Icelandic "tindar" means "summits" and not all of them have a number of summits lined up. They can also be flat-topped and linear.Reykholt (talk) 14:41, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
