Proposed move to Category:Mur Category:Mur (river)
[edit]Mur (de:Mur (Fluss)) is the original Austrian (german) name. The river originates in Austria and 2/3 of it are in Austria. See also Encyclopædia Britannica. --R.Schuster (talk) 16:19, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose de:Mur, fr:Mur (homonymie), en:Mur has too many potential conflicts and confusion, but in English and 3 of the 4 countries where it flows, Mura is used. --Foroa (talk) 17:46, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- No, english do not use 'Mura', just the english wiki articles does. See Encyclopædia Britannica. --R.Schuster (talk) 18:47, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

Ad name: I proposed simply Category:Mur, because there is no such category at the moment, so no need to disambiguate. But of course it could be named Category:Mur (river) or something like that to prevent confusion in advance. --R.Schuster (talk) 09:23, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- A category musts state what it means. Mur alone is too confusing in too many languages and could interfere with several of these categories. We don't keep a policy of moving all the time when it is really unavoidable. With 40000 new categories per month, we have to anticpate a minimum as in de:Mur, fr:Mur (homonymie), en:Mur . --Foroa (talk) 15:39, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hello Foroa. Yes of course, as stated above, Category:Mur (river) is perfectly fine.
Am I supposed to change the topic?Best regards, --R.Schuster (talk) 17:17, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
