Why sub-category of abandonned?

[edit]

Definition of "shack" from Wiktionary:

  1. A crude, roughly built hut or cabin.
  2. Any unpleasant, poorly constructed or poorly furnished building.

Not abandonned. Nicolas1981 (talk) 06:07, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you, but I am confused since this category isn't a subcat of Category:Abandoned buildings. It *is* a subcat of category:Derelict buildings (which itself is, incorrectly in my view, a subcat of Category:Abandoned buildings), so perhaps it is that overall category structure that concerns you. However, at Commons:Categories for discussion/2012/08/Category:Derelict buildings you say that there is only a "very minor difference" between abandoned buildings and derelict buildings, which seems to contradict what you have said here. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 19:07, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
