On 2016-12-29 and 2016-12-30 I uploaded 4 photos of Stephanie Kelton, which I received from her asking me to post them to Wikimedia Commons. After receiving a copyright challenge from User:Secondarywaltz, I sent emails as requested to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. Kelton sent one herself to that address confirming that she owned those photos and was releasing them under cc-by-sa. Those photos have since been deleted, and I have no idea why nor what recourse I have. I have seen no acknowledgement that a human ever reviewed the information I sent. I posted notices of what I had done requesting a reply to User talk:Secondarywaltz and with the photos, which were deleted with the photos. These generated robotic acknowledgments "[Ticket#2016123010010111] Confirmation of receipt (Re: Re: 1 PM?)" and "[Ticket#2016123010010166] Confirmation of receipt (Re: Re: 1 PM?)". I have not seen any explanation of why what Prof. Kelton and I sent to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org was not adequate. What should I do about this?
