Active - inactive[edit]

All volcanoes which had eruptions after ice age (within the last 10000 years) and / or have active hydrothermal areas within their vicinity and / or have earthquakes and / or other caracteristic movements of terrain (resurgent domes, intrusions etc.) are called "active" by geologists.
