Commons:European Science Photo Competition 2015 in Estonia
Estonian Science Photo Competition 2015 (Teadusfoto 2015) took place in November 1st to December 15th as part of the European Science Photo Competition.
Local jury consisted of Jaak Kikas, Ivo Kruusamägi, Lauri Kulpsoo, Arko Olesk and Urmas Tartes.
Winners were selected based on 5 competition categories. Main prize to the Science Photographer of the Year was given out by Nikon. Special prizes were provided by Akadeemia, Imeline Teadus, Eesti Loodus, Regio, Horisont and University of Tartu Museum.
Results were announced in January 22, 2016. Winners were Johanna Adojaan, Tavo Romann, Martin Mark, Kaspar Kallip and Maxim Bilovitskiy. Among them, Tavo Romann was named as the photographer of the year.
