- Support I could quibble about the right crop, but it's an impressive battleship and well captured in this 109-year-old photo. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:04, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Ikan Kekek: I go with the philosophy that if people want to reuse it as a cropped image, that's what {{CSS image crop}} is for, as the uncropped maximises reuse - need a wide, short image? You have what you need to crop it. Want to write about Toulon's naval history? There you go! And so on. Adam Cuerden (talk) 17:28, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Comment The crop might have been wider. However, no-one can go back in time to 1911 to retake this photo. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:39, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- I mean more that you can make it fit the desired shape: Cut top and bottom for a panorama-style website banner, leave as is for a poster, crop tight for a ship thumbnail. I think I think in print terms more than some here. Adam Cuerden (talk) 05:03, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
- Right. But you can't make the crop wider than it is. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:36, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
