- Info A little wattlebird, perched in a Jacaranda tree. The warm light is reflected from the ground; it was a hot summer's day. Sorry for what noise there is; I've tried to manage it without destroying the feathers. As it's passed QI and I find the pose and light striking, I decided to nominate it here.

- Oppose - Is there distortion on the tail? In any case, I don't think it's sharp enough for FP, even judging at full-page size, which is not very big for this photo. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:32, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- I don't know how there can be distortion at 335mm? And this is very nearly my sensor's full resolution: it's 15Mpx. You might be perceiving the image as small because it's a portrait -- Thennicke (talk) 10:06, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- You misread my post. It's small at _full-page_ size, not _full_ size. And there's a weird spot on the tail. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:30, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose A long way from FP. Has been ruined by over-processing since being promoted to QI. Charles (talk) 08:58, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- Could you please describe what's overprocessed about this image? Thanks -- Thennicke (talk) 10:06, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- Pretty obvious. Just compare the original upload with this version. Charles (talk) 13:19, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- I withdraw my nomination Thank you for the reviews. -- Thennicke (talk) 09:57, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
