| language | lang | Language code of the output. The template tries to guess whether page language or user language should be used, but this technique fails on original English pages, and may lead to unexpected output on non-Commons-namespace pages (e.g. the user language is Arabic, but the template is not yet translated to Arabic, so the English template contains Arabic dates).
