  •  Comment There is a natural source in this place which is assimilated to that of Lourdes and which is the object of special veneration. In the 19th century, similar sanctuaries were numerous but nowadays few are those which are still active , with particular care. If you look at the other two images in the category you will see that the statue has been restored.   •  Question Do you mean a source of a river? I can't say for certain what people say in non-American dialects of English, but we do not use "source" by itself to mean the source of a river. You should specify what river it's the source of, or if that's unimportant, just call it a "spring".
