  •  Question - One question: This study exists in several copies. For example, I believe I remember seeing one at the Musee Rodin in Paris. So is the location of this particular identical copy of the statue a relevant scope parameter? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:24, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I often asked myself the same question, especially when reading the catalogs of exhibitions or sales rooms, which mention the title and the author but also the foundry and type of patina. A friend auctioneer explained to me that prices varied a lot according to these two parameters. For the foundry I am unable to do the ditfence, but for patinas I am very sensitive: I do not like black or brown patina, I like green patinas or patinas a la romaine. Each event of the same bronze is different. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 08:56, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • If the copies are all different enough for someone to recognize the difference by viewing the photos on Commons, then there is no longer a question about separate scopes being useful for each copy. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:24, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
