Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Ikada Stadium
Used in Global usage
Reason Rare aerial image of a stadium built in 1951 and demolished in late 1962, located at Merdeka Square, Jakarta, formerly known as Ikada Square and Gambir Square. Ikada Stadium was the site of Indonesia's second Pekan Olahraga Nasional (National Games or National Sports Week) and several football matches during the 1962 Asian Games. The stadium was also the site of several political rallies. It was demolished to make way for the construction of the National Monument. -- Arsonal (talk)

  •  Support °Edit:  Weak Support: Concerned about the low quality reducing the merit this has. Please count my vote as only 1/2. --Adam Cuerden (talk) 12:44, 25 May 2010 (UTC) Kind of average-looking, for a stadium, and the quality isn't fantastic, but if you wanted to write an article on this stadium, this is the image you'd want. •  Oppose Rare is not necessarily notable (merely 86 non-wiki hits on Google :-o). I don't think every (whether still existing or not) stadium deserves a scope. Lycaon (talk) 20:48, 19 May 2010 (UTC)(UTC)[reply]
    • It's arguable: Since VI is meant to help people find images for articles, and given the number of sports fanatics out there... Well, it's obviously near the border, but I think it's a little on the support side. Adam Cuerden (talk) 01:54, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support I think it wasn't common at that time to build temporary installations. And apparently it was located in the city center of the capital? --Ikar.us (talk) 09:53, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
