Comment You have one more shot of the subject and I wonder which one is more informative.--MrPanyGoff (talk) 09:17, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Question As no specialist in animals has reviewed this VIC, I ask a layperson's question: what are the distinctive features of this species and are they shown here? --Myrabella (talk) 21:01, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Comment I am no expert in bats, but I know their identification is not easy. It seems Eptesicus fuscus, Myotis lucifugus, and several other similar looking Myotis species occur in British Columbia as well [1]. --Quartl (talk) 11:13, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
      •  Question Do you think one can recongnize here the characteristics given in the physical description on that page? --Myrabella (talk) 21:21, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
        •  Comment Hmmm, difficult. For measurements one would need a comparison length, fur coloring also varies greatly in bats, black ears and wings are there but not distinctive, calcar and teeth are not visible. The ears are relatively long and extend beyond the nose when pushed forward is a more of a hands-on criterion; from the image I would say no, but that is hard to tell. Maybe the author can say something about the criteria he used for identification? --Quartl (talk) 05:45, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
