  •  Info Thank you for your hint. What I see first, is this: === Stained glass windows of ''The Adoration'' === {{VICs |Cathedral Fribourg vitrail Dreikönig 01.jpg |Cathedrale vitraux mehoffer rois entier.jpg }} I can see others did it also like this. But I don't understand well on which side I am reading/writing.

Now, I propose the scope (cf. above) Vitraux de la cathédrale Saint-Nicolas (Fribourg). It's a category on Commons. Is it OK? Matutinho 19:55, 13 February 2022 (UTC) Matutinho 20:24, 13 February 2022 (UTC) I try it once more.[reply]

You should link the category by using double square brackets on both sides of it and then format the view as others do, so that we don't see "Category," but after that, you should state which windows we are viewing. It looks like they are depicting The Adoration, but since French is the most common language in Fribourg, the standard is to use the French title with English in parentheses unless the original title was in German, in which case, use German with English in parentheses. So perhaps you would use the following format: ''Vitraux de l'Adoration'' (Stained Glass Windows of the Adoration), Józef Mehoffer, [[Category:Vitraux de la cathédrale Saint-Nicolas (Fribourg)|Cathédrale Saint-Nicolas (Fribourg)]]. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:27, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Excuse me, I didn'n understand the whole procedure of this candature.
I linked the category in the field scope and put the English translation in parenthesis. My question: Where do I state which windows we are viewing? I think I stated it before (cf. red text above). Have I to indicate the 2 images (filenames) in other place/site? Or have I to create a new site called Commons:Valued image candidates/Cathedrale vitraux mehoffer rois entier.jpg manualy? Above, I actually gave you an example you could have chosen to copy and paste to "Scope." -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:54, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your help. I focused on the stained-glass windows of the cathedral Saint-Nicolas in Fribourg. Your proposition aims the same category. But I did'nt unterstand the part after the pipe. Do you prefer the focus on the whole cathedral with sculptures, paintings, organs, choir stalls, architecture ect.? From the Middle Ages to modern time? Is the focus I proposed not acceptable? Matutinho 20:58, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I really don't understand your question. Do you see what I put within the "nowiki" codes (visible in edit mode)? That's my proposed scope. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:39, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Actualy, I changed the scope by copy+paste your proposition; I did it on both sites. But unfortunately, I did'nt understand well. I hope it's OK. Thank you for your patience. Matutinho 06:58, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You haven't linked any Commons category. You must put a colon before the word "Category". I'm sorry, that was my error above. I just fixed it. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:40, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
