@Archaeodontosaurus: First of all the scope Category doesn't contains the image and in that scope Category File:Brimstone Butterfly (8109898250).jpg is better than the nominated. Do correct me if I'm wrong--Tiven2240 (talk) 17:41, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You find two problems. The image is not directly in the category and the quality is insufficient. For the first point there is discussion. I am not in favor of the image not being in the category. But in this particular case it does not seem to me a bad idea because it is necessary to split the category plethoric, and the idea of making it on the criterion of the flow is usual for the butterflies. To ask the label only on the category of the butterfly and the flower is impossible. This point has already been discussed and we did not want to have different labels for all the flowers visited by the butterflies. Charles's choice seems acceptable to me. For the scientific value of the image the one you propose is in top fuzzy for the cephalic extremity and the external parts of the wings. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 18:15, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Comment @Tiven2240: I had not noticed that someone had moved the category of my Featured picture since it was created FP. I have put in back in the former gallery - having categories of insects on flowers is a silly idea. As to the relative quality of the image you prefer, yours is very blurred on the end of the wings. You should be wary of opposing a Featured picture without taking more care in your evaluation and perhaps making a comment before opposing. Charles (talk) 21:18, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have no problem with the quality as it already has QI tag i was only concern with the category of the image which I seen being resolved so I give a big yes  Support for the image and congrats as it will be the image with all the 3 tags FI QI and VI --Tiven2240 (talk) 02:08, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
