Reason Mgr Donnet was cardinal, archbishop of Bordeaux, and senator of the Second French Empire. He was bishop during 47 years, this is a kind or record in France. Alone in scope as photograph. Very difficult restoration by me of an original by Nadar, available as first upload. No geocode for a studio shot. In use of course.
