 Info This is a typical state of "Trockenruhe" (sorry, I don't know the English expression). The animal rests during dry periods (and closes the shell by a "diaphragma") and waits for moist weather. What about changing the scope here to Helicella itala (Heath snail) banded form in "Trockenruhe", umbilical side or something like that? --Llez ( talk) 07:30, 28 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
