Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Pinus canariensis (Canary Island pine) Immature microstrobilus (male cone)
Used in

Global usage

en:Conifer cone, fr:Cône (botanique) and species:Pinus canariensis. There is a cropped version used in another articles.
Reason Detailed photograph of an immature microstrobilus, also known as male cone, of a Pinus canariensis. I think that it is the only photograph in which we can appreciate its immaturity. Check Pinus canariensis cones all the photographs that I found of male and female cones of Pinus canariensis (both are in the same category). -- Ivanhercaz (talk)

  • Thank your for your comment, Archaeodontosaurus, I hope to improve my nominations and the rest of my work in my Commons bit by bit. Point 1 done, is it better now? Point 2, done and I will consider this in the future, it is an important that I can't forget. One question, do you think that could be relevant to create categories for both strobilus (male and female)? The category of the scope could be the specific that I mention to you, I only have to reorganize it and recognize what I am able to recognize. • Look at the changes in the scope. We only address one category. As for creating a male and female category the idea is not bad, but the initial category is not very large. If you do, you will need to change the scope again. As long as there is no vote you can change the scope informally. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 08:05, 18 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • All right! I understood, thanks Archaeodontosaurus. I will consider that I have to address only one category. I am not going to change the scope at this moment by the reason you have gave. Regards, Ivanhercaz (talk) 08:14, 18 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
