Wiki Loves Sudan 2023 is an National photographic contest organized by Wikimedia Sudan User Group Community to document Sudan in different Cultural themes. Wiki Loves Sudan 2023 is a part of Sudanese Content on Wikimedia Project 2021.

This photography contest is focused on Sudan in categories, such as but not limited to, folk festivals, festivals, music, sport activities, tradition, Weather, Historical sites, Political events, religion ceremonies, etc. You are encouraged to submit any photos of Sudan in Sudan between 15th March and 30th April 2023. By submitting your photos to the competition, you share Sudan's photos with the rest of the world to enjoy through the internet and allow visibility of your shots and your country.

The contest is being organized by the Wikimedia Community User Group Sudan.

Prizes

• 1st prize: 100 USD

• 2nd prize: 75 USD

• 3rd prize: 75 USD

How do I participate?

General information

Everybody is allowed to participate, regardless of age, nationality, and place of living, given he/she agrees to publish their work under Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.

In order to participate in the contest, one needs:

to have an account at Wikimedia Commons;
take pictures of the Sudan culture;
Upload pictures at Commons. Don't forget to add the Category:Images from Wiki Loves Sudan 2023
