| Description |
Seen at Forest How, Eskdale. I had noted a deterioration in her condition since July, with a lump having appeared on the right side of her neck (thought to be an abcess). She was eating well, and movement did not show any obvious problem. She was, however, only sighted briefly each day, which suggested that she was spending lengthy periods resting up. Her early morning arrivals also suggested that she had re-located close to the guest house. Still, at eight years old, she has survived remarkably well, including living through a major squirrelpox outbreak in 2014. |
