'Mining cart' wooden bench /made in the local wood carving camp, c.2014-2015/. Next to its an information board about "History of the Mining of Tatabánya II 1901-1918" By about 1901, at the time of the construction of the railway station, the vertical transporters were already in operation, post office, telegraph, registry office comleted. By 1910 the eighth mine plant was completed, the steam-powered brick factory, and a briquette factory too. The Tatabánya Sport Club, the mine rescue station was established. In 1912 a cement factory started to operate, the hospital was built, the old town church was built. In 1912 the MÁK Mining Co. was among the 50 largest companies in Europe partly due to the production of the Tata/Tatabánya coal basin. In 1914, the so-called railway coal pillar mining was started. 1915, due to the flood of the Galla-patk, the production of the Mine of Géza Teleki, No. 3, was stopped. 1917-1918 was a time of strikes. - About 'Mining cart' memorial bench information board: this is a four-wheeled small railway carriage in which the material produced in the mine is brought to the open air on narrow-track railways Towed by hand, with the help of a horse, with an infinity rope or locomotive.
