Description
English: A medieval lead writing stylus, body slightly squashed and cracked, rectangular in section, max. thickness 9mm. Width 15mm at widest place. Point has been worked to make round in section, workings clearly visible. Length 76mm. Another example from a 13th century context is documented in Biddle Winchester 1990, p.746, no.2313.
