Title
?Roman awl
Description
English: Probably Roman awl, 72mm in length with a diameter of 8mm at the mid-point. It weighs 10.45g.

The patina is smooth and shiny and from the mid-point to one side it narrows like a faceted cone to a point. To the other side the tang extends, clearly worked with light and heavy chisel marks. Its width narrows from 5mm to 4mm, its thickness from 4mm to 1.5mm.

This is an a-typical awl compared with the more common Bronze Age awls and is therefore probably Roman.
