Title
?Roman lead weight, reverse
Description
English: A cast lead weight in the shape of a frustum, or truncated cone. At its base the weight is 22.1mm in diameter, while it is 12.2mm in diameter at the top. It has a hole running right through its centre; the hole tapers towards the top. On the base there is a broadly circular groove running between the hole and the circumference. The weight is worn and scarred. There is a possibility that it might have acted as a Roman steelyard weight.
