Description
Русский: Гатчинский дворец-музей - город Гатчина Ленинградской области. Представляет собой здание, состоящее из трёх связанных между собой частей. Основная часть - центральный трёхэтажный корпус с примыкающими к нему двумя пятигранными башнями. Главный корпус соединяется двумя полуциркулярными галереями со служебными каре - Кухонным и Конюшенным. представляющими собой замкнутые четырёхугольники с внутренними дворами. Изначально строился для фаворита Екатерины Великой графа Григория Орлова по проекту А. Ринальдо в стиле итальянского палаццо. Строительство было завершено в 1781 году. После смерти графа Екатерина II подарила дворец своему сыну Павлу Петровичу, который его перестроил, превратив в замок с крепостным рвом и широким плацем для военных парадов.
