Українська: Інфузорії роду Colpoda - це невеликі одноклітинні бобовидной форми, рівномірно вкриті віями. Вони харчуються в основному бактеріями, тому часто в достатку зустрічаються в водах, багатих органікою яка розкладається. Особливість колпод полягає в тому, що вони можуть прожити без води в захисних оболонках до 16 місяців. Через цю здатності інфузорії можуть бути виявлені в звичайному грунті, який час від часу зволожується. А також розповсюджуватись на великі території вітром та тваринами.
English: Ciliates of the genus Colpoda - are small unicellular organisms bean-shaped, evenly covered with cilia. They feed mainly on bacteria, so they are often found in abundance in waters rich in decomposing organic matter. The peculiarity of colpods is that they can live without water in protective shells for up to 16 months. Because of this ability, ciliates can be detected in ordinary soil, which is occasionally moistened. And also spread to large areas by wind and animals. English: Ciliates of the genus Colpoda |
