Оригинальная модель, сделана для памятника в Варшаве.Но изготовленная скульптура по указанию Николая Первого была передана Паскевичу и установлена в его имении Гомель Могилевский. Однако в 1922 году поляки перенесли её в Варшаву. В 1944 году немцы её там и взорвали. В 1952 году по оригинальной модели была отлита копия в бронзе и передана Варшаве от лица Датского правительства и Коммуны Копенгагена.
