Summary[edit]
English: A jar dating back to the third millennium BC was found on the island of Tarut. It is made of coarse red pottery, mixed with broken white and black stones that appear pear-shaped. It has a neck centered on the middle of its upper part and is high and widens slightly with its height to the top to end with an edge extending outward, and it has a pointed base that represents an extension of the body of the body. This pear-shaped jar with its long neck and pointed base indicates the influence of the Jemdet Nasr civilization in Mesopotamia. |
