Description
Deutsch: Bizarre Felsformationen “Pancake Rocks” im Paparoa-Nationalpark bei Punakaiki an der Westküste der Südinsel Neuseelands. Durch die Löcher zwischen den Felsen, den sogenannten Blowholes, wird bei Flut das Wasser durch anrollende Wellen in Form von Fontänen nach oben gedrückt. Die Bilderserie zeig den Verlauf des hochgedrückten Wassers.
Simple English: Bizarre rock formations "Pancake Rocks" in the Paparoa National Park near Punakaiki on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Through the holes between the rocks, the so-called blowholes, at high tide, the water is pushed up by rolling waves in the form of fountains. The photos series shows the course of the high water pressure.
