Title |
03/664 Medieval seal |
||
Description |
English: A pointed oval seal matrix. Most of the edges have worn away, along with the inscription; what survives is in good condition. On the back are the remains of a suspension loop. The central design contains a cross with expanding terminals, each of which has serifs. The lower arm of the cross projects beyond the serifs to the bottom of the frame. The letters 'h' and 'e' appear on either side of the cross. |
