Description
Deutsch: Nachtzug Bologna C – Palermo C, Rangierfahrt zum Fährschiff nach Messina Marittima auf Sizilien. Wegen der Verkehrsdichte gibt es hier drei Fährbetten. Die Fährschiffe werden über Bug be- und entladen. Im linken Fährbett 3 liegt ein Doppelendfährschiff für den Güterverkehr mit offenem Ladedeck. Die Fährbetten sind von Süden angebunden, durch den zweimaligen Richtungswechsel im Bahnhof Villa San Giovanni und auf den Fährschiffen ändert sich die Wagenreihung der Züge zwischen Mittel- bzw. Norditalien und Sizilien bei der Trajektierung nicht. In jedem Zufahrtsgleis gibt es eine Schutzweiche, damit keine Wagen versehentlich ins Wasser geschoben werden.
