Description
English: A carved marble decoration element that was part of a frieze made during the Imperial Golden Age, representing Roman cavalry pursuing dacians vanquished by the Trajan army, and reused to adorn the east side of the architrave of the Arch of Triumph of Constantine in Rome (AD 315).
Français : Élément de décor en marbre sculpté ayant fait partie d’une frise réalisée pendant l'Âge d'Or impérial, représentant des cavaliers romains poursuivant des daces vaincus par l’armée de Trajan, et réemployé pour orner le côté est de l’architrave de l’arc de triomphe de Constantin à Rome (315 apr. J.-C.).
