Description
English: Half touch piece of James II. The obverse legend is IACO.II D.G. M.B. Fr. E[T. HI. REX] (James II, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland). The ship that appears on the obverse is only faintly visible due to wear. The reverse legend is [SOLI. DEN.] GLORIA (To God alone the Glory). The top right half of St Michael and the Dragon are visible. The item has been pierced for wear as a talisman and cut deliberately.
