1369 Neolithic Axe fragment.JPG |

Description |
English: A Neolithic stone axe fragment. It is 35mm long, 46mm wide and 20mm thick. This is the butt of a flaked axe. There are multiple flaking scars on both the ventral and dorsal side creating an oval cross-section with a rounded terminal. The break is very close to the terminal, this is an old break. The flint has a creamy patina with orangish/brown mottling. |
