16th to 17th century copper-alloy pimple button
Description
English: A copper-alloy pimple button of 16th to 17th century date. The button has a relatively flat back, convex front with central pimple, and integral loop on the reverse. The button has a diameter of 11.58mm and is 5.37mm thick. The loop is oval in shape, 6.92mm long and 5.18mm wide. The wire of the loop has a diameter of 1.26mm. The button weighs 2.96g.
