Title
174 33Microliths.JPG
Description
English: 33 Microliths
  Late Mesolithic
The artefacts range from 24mm long, 8mm wide, 3mm thick, to 9mm long, 6mm wide, 1mm thick.

most of the artefacts have two arrises, one on each side, there is one point in the group (24mm long, 8mm wide, 2mm thick), 7 blunted points, and 25 other styles of microliths.

These artefacts could have been mounted on the shaft of an arrow and may represent evidence of hunting tools from the site.

Most of the flints have a light grey patina and the rest an off white patina.

These are part of a large assemblage of 511 flints. See GLO-BCDA95 for further information on the rest of the assemblage.
