Description
Nederlands: Aardewerk aangetroffen in de polder Vriesland tijdens een archeologische opgraving in 1970. In de periode vanaf 1949 zijn een aantal belangrijke archeologische vindplaatsen ontdekt, gelegen op de wat hogere oever van een oude kreek over een lengte van ongeveer 2,5 kilometer. Tussen 2900 en 2600 voor Christus (Nieuwe Steentijd) verbleven jaarlijks in de zomermaanden mensen van de zogenaamde Vlaardingen-groep op deze iets hogere oever. Ze waren al een beetje ‘boer’, maar leefden toch vooral van de jacht en het vissen.
