Description

1913 De Dion-Bouton 14 CV Type DZ Torpedo
De Dion-Bouton was a French automobile and railcar manufacturer between 1883 and 1932, founded by Jules-Albert de Dion, Georges Bouton and Charles Trepardoux, the cars were well known for quality, reliability and durability.

This Model DZ was built extra strong to withstand tough terrain in French colonies such as Algeria. When World War I broke out, many de Dions were fitted out as gun trucks, ambulances and armoured cars. The company became the first to make a mass-produced V8 engine, a 35 hp 6,107 cc CJ unit in 1910 and 26hp 3,534 cc Type CN a year later. This car believed to be the last Model DZ left in the world
