English: 1919 Pierce-Arrow roadster in storage at the carriage house in Tudor Place, Washington DC. A placard states the bodywork was custom made by Brewster & Company of New York. The steering wheel and German silver bell-shaped headlights were designs taken from Rolls Royce. The vehicle was in use from 1919 to 1983, only putting 37,000 miles on it. |
