| Description |
Peter Brock was one of Australia's best-known and most successful motor racing drivers. Brock was most often associated with Holden for almost 40 years, he won the Bathurst 1000 endurance race nine times. Brock's business activities included the Holden Dealer Team (HDT) that produced Brock's racing machines as well as a number of modified high-performance road versions of his racing cars. This is Peter Brocks very first car, purchased at 12 years of age. He cut the body off with and axe, and rebuilt the engine in his bedroom. He couldn't work out the brakes, so they were removed, he slowed down by changing down and sliding sideways to a stop. |
