Русский: Пионер Петя Константинов как лучший юный осводовец (ОСВОД - в СССР Общество спасения на водах) в качестве награды получает любимую книгу - "Путешествия Гулливера" Джонатана Свифта. Вместе с другими пионерами, своими руками отремонтировавшими парусную лодку со звучным именем "Артек", он отправляется на прогулку к ближайшему от пионерского лагеря острову. Там на отдыхе ребята просят вожатого прочитать им вслух Петину книгу. Во время чтения мальчик засыпает и видит себя на месте великана, попавшего в страну лиллипутов. Но, поскольку Петя - советский пионер, он относится к событиям в сказочной стране иначе, чем его литературный предшественник...
