Description Lot of 9 1939 Bowman "Play Ball" gum cards. The company was previously named Gum, Inc. These are from the first set the company produced. The players are from left: Top row- Elbert Preston Fletcher, Fred Maloy Frankhouse, Mercellus Monte Pearson. Middle row-Harry A. Lavagetto, Goodwin George Rosen, Lewis Sidney Riggs. Bottom row-Irwin Fox, August Richard Suhr, Lamar Newsome.
