The 1937 Ford got a more rounded body and now fine horizontal bars in the V shaped grille and a V shaped windscreen. In 1939, the Standard got a grille similar to the 1938 Deluxe, a heart shaped grille with horizontal dividers. The Deluxe got a low pointed grille with vertical slats. The 39 Ford was available in 3 models; The Model 922A Standard with 136 cu in V8; 5 window coupe, Tudor, Sedan and Wagon. The Model 91A Standard with 221 cu in V8; 5 window coupe, Tudor or Sedan And the Model 91A Deluxe with 221 cu in V8; 5 window coupe, Club Coupe, Tudor, Sedan, Woody Wagon, Convertible Sedan and Convertible Coupe. The 39 Ford was not only built in the US but also in other countries including Australia. 1934 was the year the worlds first coupe utility was available, Ford Utes designed and built in Australia from 1934-2016. In 1939 and 1940 Ford Australia introduced its own variation on the 2 door Coupe, the design following rival brands from GM and Chrysler, they were all called the Sloper Coupes.
