The Studebaker Lark was made form 1959-66, the body still similar to the 53-58 Studebakers, front and rear overhang was shortened, Two series were available, the Lark VI; 170 6 cyl or Lark VIII; 259 V8, both in Deluxe or Regal trim. Introduced in 1959 as a 2 and 4 door Sedans, 2 door Hardtop Coupe and 2 door Wagon. 1960; Convertible and 4 door wagon introduced 1961; Facelift with broader grille, quad headlights on Regal and Cruiser. Skytop sunroof option available and the LWB Cruiser was introduced (vent windows in rear doors) 1962; second generation, longer at the rear, all Larks had dual headlights and a Mercedes inspired grille. Top trim Daytona introduced. In 1963, the wrap around front windscreen was gone, roof pillars now a lot thinner, also a new grille. Base model was now the Standard, mid the Regal, top was the 4 door Cruiser or the Daytona 2 door Hardtop, Convertible and the Wagoneer with sliding rear roof section. 1963 Daytona engines; 240hp 259 V8 R1 Jet Thrust
