Description

Green Go (Dodge) Sassy Grass Green (Plymouth). Dodge offered four different wheelbases in 1971. The full size C body Dodge was the Polara, Polara Custom, Polara Brougham and Monaco. The Dodge Challenger E body pony, available in base and R/T. The Dart was the A body compact; base, Special, Swinger and Demon. The mid size B body was the Coronet, in 1971 all Coronets were 4 door Sedans or Wagons, available in base, Coronet Custom and Coronet Brougham. The Charger 2 door Hardtop available in base, 500, R/T and SE. The Super Bee was now on the Charger platform. Along with the equivalent Plymouth cars; the Satellite, GTX and Road Runner, the Dodge Charger got a new body, a more aerodynamic rounded shape with divided deep inset grille. You only got hide away head lights with the luxury SE option, (available on the base model and the R/T). Another option was the Ramcharger Hood which had a vacuum switch under the dash to open and close the scoop. Models for 1971 were; base, 500 and last year for the R/T (Rallye in 1972)

Engines, 230hp 318, 300hp 383, 370hp 440 Magnum and 425hp 426 Hemi.
