| Description |
Deutsch: 08.05.1988 Dresden-Altstadt: Nymphenbad (GMP: 51.053764,13.733765) im Zwinger. Die Arbeiten an den Bogengalerien, dem Nymphenbad und dem Gebäudetrakt des späteren Mathematisch-Physikalischen Salons begannen 1711. Mit diesem anspruchsvollen Vorhaben waren der Landesbaumeister Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann und der Bildhauer Balthasar Permoser beauftragt. Unter Permoser arbeiteten weitere erfahrene Fachleute der Bildhauerei, wie Johann Benjamin Thomae, Paul Heermann, Johann Christian Kirchner, Johann Matthäus Oberschall und Johann Joachim Kretzschmar aus Zittau. Die originalen Quellnymphen wurden um 1712 vom Hofbildhauer Joachim Kretzschmar geschaffen. In den 1920er-Jahren restaurierte Hubert Ermisch das Nymphenbad und schuf die Figuren, nach denen die jetzigen Kopien gefertigt wurden. [R19880508D0012.jpg]19880508940NR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
