Description
Deutsch: 09.05.1988 DDR 8010 [01067] Dresden-Altstadt, Sophienstraße. Blick zur Westfassade des Residenzschlosses, dahinter der Hausmannsturm (GMP: 51.053007,13.737034). Hervorgegangen ist der Herrensitz aus einer mittelalterlichen Burg. Ersterwähnung als Castum 1289. Um 1400 begann der Bau des Hausmannsturms. Der Baumeister Arnold von Westfalen führte die unterschiedlichen Bauteile von 1468 - 1480 zu einer geschlossenen zusammen. Heutiges Schloß: Große Renaissance-Vierflügelanlage mit Benutzung mittelalterlicher Reste, im wesentlichen 16. Jh. Hauptmeister B. und H. Kramer, C. Voigt von Wierandt, P. Buchner und H. Irmisch.
